A Message to Parents

Thank you for trusting Dimension Space as your child's learning companion. We are committed to prioritizing your child's privacy and safety:

  1. Data Storage: Data is currently stored primarily on servers in Hong Kong.
  2. AI Training: Under our current policy, we do not actively use your child's conversation content or photos for AI model training.
  3. No Advertising: We do not display advertisements within the App, nor do we sell data to third-party advertisers.

1. Why is Parental Consent Required?

In accordance with Hong Kong privacy guidelines, we must obtain explicit parental consent before collecting personal data from users under the age of 13. For users aged 13-17, we will also notify parents via email regarding subscriptions or specific features.

2. Handling of Your Child's Data

We collect nicknames, grade levels, learning progress, and AI conversation content. All data is used solely to assist in learning. Parents may request to access or delete their child's account data at any time via email.

3. Parental Supervision and Rights

  • Weekly Reports: Parents can choose to receive weekly reports on their child's learning progress.
  • Crisis Protection: If the AI detects a serious mental health crisis, it will provide information for professional helplines and may contact parents in emergencies.
  • Withdrawing Consent: You may withdraw your consent at any time via email (support@starcloudedu.com). Upon withdrawal, your child's account will be deactivated and deleted according to our procedures.

4. Declaration of Consent

By completing the email verification and submitting this consent, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and agreed to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • You authorize us to collect and process your child's necessary learning data.
  • You understand that AI answers may contain errors and are for learning reference only.
